The consultancy was inspired by Kobe Bryant, who began his athletic career with the Los Angeles Lakers wearing jersey number 8. Over the next 20 years, he became one of the best basketball players ever before retiring from the sport wearing number 24. His dedication, focus on improving his craft, and passion for the game were consistently displayed in amazing highlights on the court, resulting in five championships, a 4th place ranking in all-time scoring, including an 81-point game, two finals MVPs in the NBA, and two gold medals in the Olympics.
After his retirement, Bryant's legacy continued with an Oscar for his short documentary, "Dear Basketball," and strong advocacy for women's basketball. His untimely passing at the age of 41, along with his daughter Gianna and others in a helicopter crash, further emphasized his impact on many.
The culture of excellence cultivated by great players and teams within the LA Lakers as an organization raised the standards of the sport, expanded the fan base globally, and attracted top talents like LeBron James and Anthony Davis to continue the tradition. This was reflected in the team's 17 championships, tied for the most in the NBA's history.
Thank you for the inspiration and memories, Kobe. Heroes come and go, but legends keep motivating us and forever change our lives.
